The Pointer Sisters, grupo de soul formado en 1971 en Oakland, California, por las hermanas Bonnie Pointer, June Pointer, Anita Pointer y Ruth Pointer. Desde jóvenes estuvieron influidas por el gospel y el soul de The Staple Singers, Aretha Franklin y The Andrews Sisters. En 1971 firmaron con Blue Thumb Records.
